I'm sorry because
I told everyone that
you're 41 years old,
when you're really only 32.

I am embarrassed at how much I've been looking forward to this week's return of my favorite television show. Since I only associate with people who like The Office, it's been coming up in conversation frequently because the season premiere is Thursday. Ever since my Dad told me that Jenna Fischer is going through a divorce (true) and that she is 41 (false), I've been sharing this information every time the show comes up, followed by a "can you believe that?! She looks so young!!" Well, last week Bobby told me he heard that Pam went to Truman State University and suggested we verify it on imdb.com, which is an excellent resource for all things related to movies and TV. Here I learned that she did in fact attend (and graduate) from Truman State, grew up in St. Louis, and is only 32 years old.
By the way, I was only joking about not associating with people who don't like the Office. My Uncle Wyane and Aunt Cindy don't get it, and I still love them.

I can not put into words how excited I am for the premiere of this, our all-time favorite, show. Only 3 more days!!!!
She is my age.........wow I'm old. But not 41 old. I'M SO EXCITED FOR THURSDAY!!!
We love the office! That is so cool that she lived in Kirksville.
I'm so relieved that I like The Office and we can therefore still be friends. Even though we don't hang out ever because you're too dang far away!
thats what she said...
Thank goodness I can still read your blog. This event has been long awaited! Thank goodness for classless comedy that makes you laugh so hard your face hurts!
p.s.- I'm so excited that you love to cook too. I'm obsessed and will definitly try these recipes!
Brady and I love the Office. We tried to get my parents into it, but no luck. I think they find it annoying, and the fact that they don't get it makes it even more hilarious to me! I feel like I am Pam sometimes. It is not fun or easy to be a receptionist, and sometimes you feel like there is nobody to talk to and nobody who cares about you. So I talk to the camera about my feelings. Yes, I am not kidding. There is a surveilance camera on the wall across from my desk. It is my outlet for frustration. I make faces at it and sometimes even talk to it, much like Pam and Jim. I wonder who watches the tapes from the camera and if they have caught my reaction to people in my office. I don't care if people see it, it helps me get through my day. Can't wait to see what happens on Thursday!
32 makes much more sense. I couldn't believe she was 41. I am thinking of giving up on playing soccer on Thursday nights so that I can watch this season of The Office!!! I am hooked now!!!
The reason my parents don't like the Office is because they are like Michael and Jan. :) I am just kidding they are really nothing like them the jury is still out as to why they don't like it. How can you not I love that show. I can't wait till Thursday.
You seriously crack me up. And I LOVED the video--- I love the Office...
There seems to be a lot of discussion as to why Uncle Wayne and Aunt Cindy don't like or don't understand "The Office" . Let me clear up a few things. It's not like we don't get it- we both work in offices with obnoxious and boring people that exhibit similar behaviors as are exhibited in this TV show. We just don't choose to spend part of our precious 3-4 hours of evening TV time watching what we've experienced all day. It's not that interesting nor is it that funny. We choose more exciting programs like Dancing with the Stars, American Idol and of course my favorite- the Bachelor!! So I hope that clears it up.
By the way Catherine, love your blog!!
Ha! I loved your clarification Wayne, but really, its okay that you don't "get it" as Katherine so brutally explained, just look at all the attention you're getting!
Katherine, your blog rocks my sweet. I love your Mom, thanks for sharing her food with us!
