No doubt about it, we are missing Dr. Fields around here. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end. It was wonderful having you around for so long sweetheart. I'll miss all the afternoon games of Sequence and your masterful art of protein-shake making. I just can't make them like you do.

Oh, Katherine, I can totally relate! I remember when our kids asked the exact same thing about Brett - it was heart-breaking at first, but then they got used to it, and quality time became much more quality. It's so great that you have so much support out there!!
Ugh so sad! The other day Grant went into nursery while Jordan was caught in the hall. When he walked in the nursey worker said "you must be Grant's daddy who works too much!"

What a sweet picture!! I hear you on this one! Every morning, Daxon comes in and asks, Mommy, where's daddy? He got so use to having him here when he woke up. Those days are looooong gone:(
